Popularity of news articles

A summer 2021 research project undertaken by six MSc Data Science students under the supervision of Dr Judita Preiss involves predicting how popular news articles will be. As well as giving the students on our conversion masters a real world task, it is hoped that we’ll produce some interesting results – watch this space!

This work is being undertaken by:

  • Ambareesh Jonnavittula
  • Somayeh Omrani
  • Nyebuchi Onyekwere
  • Martin-Richard Uusmae
  • Helen Yeung
