Abstract:
An Insight to the Ewing Foundation for deaf children. Its unique role, how it works with other d/Deaf charities, what is achieved by a small charity, the reach and breadth of the charity has in the Deaf Education, in Audiology & with manufacturers.
Biography:
James Mander is a NHS trained Audiologist with experience working in ENT clinics, with cochlear implants & ABIs devices and has gone on to work in the Hearing Industry. He now works for the charity sector for the Ewing Foundation that has significantly broaden his knowledge in Deaf Education. He sits on BAA’s Service Quality Committee, his is the Chair of the Assistive Listening Technology Working Group and is Vice Chair of Deafness Sensory Support that provides a supporting service across Cheshire & North Wales.
