Center for epidemiological studies depression scale (CES-D)
The Center for epidemiological studies depression scale (CES-D) is a 20 item questionnaire screening for depression in patients with chronic disease.
Items are scored on a 1-4 scale, with the total scale score calculated as a sum of the factor scores.
