Silvia had the opportunity to present her poster at SEMPRE conference in Cambridge. Her poster is focused on ”Exploring music behaviour and preferences across neurotypes,” examines how individuals engage with and experience music across different neurotypes.

At IAEA, I presented a poster titled “Exploring transdiagnostic patterns of music behaviour and preferences across ADHD and autism neurotypes”, which is part of my PhD at LAURA, whereby I use data-driven methods to explore differences in how different neurotypes experience music, pleasure derived from music, perceptual abilities, emotions, engagement and music preferences.
At IAEA, I also gave an oral presentation of my MSc thesis titled “The neural correlates and consequences of music-induced awe”, where I discussed the results of two experiments using virtual reality and EEG that aimed to explore individual differences in neural and behavioural responses to complex, strong emotional experiences such as awe.
