with Phil Portus
Please join us for our second public talk with a photographer of Salford’s ‘slum’ clearance and redevelopment during the 1960s and 70s.
Phil Portus, whose work is well established and documented (https://www.philportus.co.uk/) will speak about his documentary project in Salford that started in the mid 1970s. His evocative photography showcases and juxtaposes individual people with the urban changes experienced during that time.
He will speak at the Salford Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday, August 10, 2024
The public talk is free of charge and no booking is required, just drop in.
