SARN’s very own Dr Chloe James recently appeared on the podcast Level Up Human, a panel show where scientists pitch ideas to redesign the human body. Hosted (remotely) by Simon Watt and Rachel Wheeley, with panellist Professor Sheena Cruickshank of the University of Manchester, the topics of discussion include magic toilets, internal phage armies, and whether extremely long fingernails are the long-awaited solution to scratching your own back. Also hidden in the podcast was the exciting news of a new collaborative BBSRC grant won by Dr Chloe and Dr Ian Goodhead, to work with Dr Heather Allison of the University of Liverpool studying the phage of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
