The Digital Curation Lab at the University of Salford currently offers a range of postgraduate opportunities for prospective students including:

  • MRes in Digital Curation – distance or residential options
    This is our Masters by Research programme, which essentially involves work on a research project over a period of 1 year (full-time) or 2 years (part-time)
  • PhD in Digital Curation
    We are open to proposal for doctoral research in digital curation ranging from theoretical approaches to practice-based work.

Scholarships and Grants

Arts and Humanities Research Council North West Consortium (AHRC NWC)

Several eligible PhD researchers at the University of Salford’s School of Arts and Media have obtained competitive AHRC studentship funding as part of the North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership. The consortium also provides specialised advanced research training, which is available to both NWC candidates and School of Arts and Media postgraduate researchers in general.
