Overview of the national survey
The national survey is examining the current landscape of children and young people’s inpatient mental health care across England and Wales.
The results of the survey will help to provide a clearer picture of service structure, staffing, pathways, challenges, and good practice. Evidence on CAMHS inpatient care is limited, with major gaps in national data. CAMHS inpatient wards’ participation in the survey is vital to building this evidence base.
Members of our young people’s advisory group wanted to share their thoughts on why they have been involved in the development of the survey and why they would like staff to participate.
If you are eligible and a staff member in one of the services that has been asked to complete the survey, and you would like to take part, you can read more about the research in the participant information sheet where you will also find links to the survey.
