About us
The Network for Cultures of Class connects researchers, cultural groups, charities, youth groups and individuals aiming to create and empower the groups and organizations to build a stronger voice backed up by substantial research. Together we will create research into class, how it is seen (or unseen) that might be used to interact those in power such as local and national politicians. Ultimately we aim work together in order to bring about changes in representation.
We aim to support the development of research into class by all who want to become involved, through workshops, advice and support to build publication and to work together to support research into cultures of class.
In our network community groups, heritage organizations, charities, researchers or interested individuals have the power to build their own ‘interest group’ and pursue their own agenda within the broader network. To enable this we will hold networking events, conferences, discussions and other events that will bring together people from diverse of class based communities.
