The Art & Design Research Group within the University of Salford’s School of Arts, Media & Creative Technology comprises academics and artists engaged in art and design research across a wide range of subject-related interests.

The Art & Design Research Group at the University of Salford welcomes proposals and expressions of interests from students in the areas listed above, including potential researchers interested in practice-based approaches to research.
We are happy to advise and work with you on developing this aspect of your proposal, in collaboration with supervisors from your research area.
Bursaries for PhD research are available through the AHRC-funded North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership studentships for 2021 entry.
