PhD Opportunities

The Art & Design Research Group at the University of Salford welcomes proposals and expressions of interests from students in the areas listed above, including potential researchers interested in practice-based approaches to research.

We are happy to advise and work with you on developing this aspect of your proposal, in collaboration with supervisors from your research area.

Bursaries for PhD research are available through the AHRC-funded North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership studentships for 2021 entry.

Another opportunity for funded studentships for 2021 entry is available through the School of Arts, Media & Creative Technology’s Pathway to Excellence Scheme.
