How to create a Facebook account

If you are not currently a Facebook user you can find videos on how to create a Facebook account either on the Facebook app or on a web browser.

Remember: You don’t need to use a photograph of yourself as a profile picture if you are not comfortable with this, you can use a photograph of your pet, garden or something else. If you are only joining Facebook to use GMMSIN, you don’t have to add anyone as a friend.

How to check and set up your security settings

Remember: Be cautious of accepting friend requests from people you do not know. Some scammers will try to add people on Facebook and build a relationship with them before asking for money or sending them links aiming to access their details. If in doubt, don’t accept a friend request from someone you do not know.
