Hidden Young People in Salford: Research Findings Launch

Academics at the University of Salford have been commissioned by Salford City Council as part of the Salford Anti-Poverty Taskforce collaboration to undertake research exploring the experience of ‘Hidden’ young people in Salford – i.e. those young people who are neither in employment, education or training (NEET), nor who claim the benefits they are entitled to.

This free event provided an overview of the key research findings fromt he Research Team, generated through interviews held with hidden young people and focus groups with wider stakeholders from across the City. This was followed by a panel discussion and a response to the findings from City Mayor, Paul Dennett.

The event took place at the University of Salford in the Old Fire Station Building.
