Dr Udayangani Kulatunga and Dr Chaminda Pathirage organised a dissemination seminar and CPD event for the CLIMATISE research project funded by the British Council Institutional Links programme.

A number of delegates from Malaysia participated at the event representing academia, professional bodies and practitioners. The CDP event focused on theme of ‘Disaster Risk Reduction through Vulnerability Assessment and Capacity Building’ where the participants identified and evaluated vulnerability factors and capacity building measures for disaster risk reduction from the context of Malaysia. CLIMATISE is a collaborative research project between Centre for Disaster Resilience, University of Salford and KANZU research, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.
