Improving CYP mental health outcomes
Led by Professor Sue McAndrew, this research focuses on improving services and outcomes for children and young people experiencing and/or vulnerable to mental health problems. Working collaboratively with statutory and non-statutory organisations, our research is concerned with CYP who have identified mental health problems, those who are vulnerable to such problems and hard to reach groups which may benefit from psychological support. Our aim is to give voice to young people and their families, with a programme of research committed to preventing mental illness, improving the mental health of those experiencing problems and promoting mental wellbeing.
