OVERVIEW:

My PhD research work is focussed on exploring links between urban domestic gardens and ecological, social and economic factors.

My work has contributed to the Defra Urban Pioneer Project. I established the contribution of urban domestic gardens to the natural capital of Greater Manchester.

Other elements of my work have informed the RHS in planning its out reach programme for their new garden – RHS Bridgewater.

Some of my work has been published and is available form the University of Salford’s repository USIR.

I am currently writing up my thesis.
