Linked to the TALENT project which aims to provide leadership development for Early Career Nurses in a range of countries, this PhD uses a qualitative approach to explore whether a global approach to development is suitable for this group of staff.
In particular the study:
- Explores the similarities and differences in early career nurses’ experiences of leadership from different countries.
- Explores the leadership development needs and aspirations of EC nurses from different countries.
- Seeks to understand the leadership challenges and barriers faced by early career nurses from different countries.
- Will develop a set of practical recommendations to support leadership development of early career nurses.
