Kidney Older Person Assessment (EDNA) Study Development: Understanding What Matters to Older People Living With Frailty and Chronic Kidney Disease, Their Caregivers and Healthcare Professionals.
Commencing in October 2023, the project will be conducting a national survey of practices in kidney units to understand how frailty is assessed and if care delivered to older people is supported by a comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA). Focus groups will be conducted to understand outcomes important to older people and carers. This evidence will then be used to support a larger programme grant application to evaluate the implementation of CGA in selected units.
