The book includes chapters by current Salford staff Jade Munslow Ong and Emma Barnes, and former Salford colleague Sanja Nivesjo. It has been described by Prof Laura Chrisman (Washington) in the following terms:

A landmark in Olive Schreiner studies and in South African cultural, social and intellectual history that establishes the global scale of Schreiner’s influence and influences. Engaging contemporary scholarly conversations on print history, ecology, Black diaspora, modernism and political activism, the book illuminates the shifting complexity of Schreiner’s thought.

Please visit the SA Modernism blog below for information about how to order copies at a 30% discount. The book will be launched at the University of Salford on 15 March — more details in due course!
