Dr Emma Barnes is organising an event with the Manchester community group Southern Voices entitled ‘Exploring Legacies of Empire: Perspectives from the Global South‘ on 28th June at the Working Class Movement Library in Salford.

The event is directed at 16-24 year olds and a packed programme will feature our new Professor Jackie Kay as a guest speaker, and a workshop co-delivered by our researchers Aimah Naqvi and Vashti Gbolagun.
