Our talks inspire and inform students about the many career options physics offers, showing how physics builds strong analytical and problem-solving abilities valued across many industries. We highlight what STEM research and academia careers look like, but also highlight alternative pathways in manufacturing, finance, data science, teaching and software development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Portable Demonstrations and Lectures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are passionate about bringing science to life. Our team has extensive experience delivering engaging physics demonstrations for all ages. We offer hands-on activities covering modern physics topics, including nanotechnology, <a href=\"https:\/\/hub.salford.ac.uk\/sirc-materials-and-physics\/extreme-conditions\/\">extreme conditions<\/a>, and measuring the speed of light in real time. Many demonstrations are portable, so we can bring them to your school, science festival, or evening event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Modern Physics Tours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are open to visit us, we can arrange tours of our cutting-edge research and teaching facilities, along with more advanced demonstrations.
