In addition, the team seek to provide students\/practitioners with the knowledge and skills to be effective public health practitioners. Within this, we seek to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Better understand the evidence base<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offer research led teaching<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take a social determinants approach to tackling health inequalities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Public Health team are part of the Directorate of Allied and Public Health at the University of Salford. We are in the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salford.ac.uk\/school-health-society\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.salford.ac.uk\/school-health-society\">School of Health and class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme aligns with: the Public Health Skills &amp; Knowledge Framework (2016); the Faculty of Public Health 10 key areas (discussed in more detail in Section 8); and the Framework for Higher Education Skills.
