12 – 14 May 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Post-Graduate Research Conference (IPGRC) invites international and national PGR students to our PGR conference in 2026  \u2018Postgraduate Research in Science, Engineering, and Environment.\u2019 The IPGRC is dedicated to supporting emerging researchers to disseminate, test, and develop ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University of Salford has hosted this conference since the early 2000s and has a track record of supporting and bringing together researchers early in their careers to stimulate collaborations and interdisciplinary thinking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sessions are developed and chaired by PGR students and established researchers. Speakers can also publish their finding in the IPGRC conference proceedings.  The previous IPGRC proceeding can be found in: Resilience in research and practice proceedings of the IPGRC conference 2022.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are planning to come to the Conference by car, the best place to park is Irwell Place Car Park<\/a> (Postcode M5 4WT) which is approximately a 5 min walk from the Chapman Building. You will receive a discount code with your joining instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do have a railway station on campus, Salford Crescent Train Station<\/a>, which is very close to the Chapman Building. Please always check National Rail<\/a> for the most up-to-date information regarding any route you have planned before setting off to the station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your train is cancelled the train companies should allow you to travel on an alternative service even if you hold an advance single ticket. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
