Wellbeing of women@work: The European Network

This network of researchers across over 20 countries globally aims to gain insights into the experiences of women aged 40 and over in the workplace and highlight the barriers and facilitators to wellbeing at work. Women aged 50-64 years old had the highest sickness absence group of all ages in UK with absence due to stress being most likely in this group and this trend is seen across Europe with women more likely to spend more of their later life with a disability than men. The network involves researchers and stakeholders with an interest in supporting women’s workplace wellbeing across the life course.
