Our Impact

In the recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment exercise, which took place in 2021, our staff were returned to Unit of Assessment (UoA) 20 (Social Work and Social Policy) and Unit of Assessment (UoA) 34 (Communication, Cultural and Media Studies, Library and Information Management) where our impact case studies were graded as either outstanding or very considerable in terms of impact reach and significance.
