WYD? Online Sexual Harassment and Media Application Engagement
This mixed-methods study aims to explore online sexual harassment. More specifically, the project provides an insight into how people understand the concept of online sexual harassment and consent, along with whether there is a relationship between online sexual harassment and media application use. The findings of this project will allow for recommendations to be made that will improve people’s awareness of sexual harassment, identify those at risk of sexual harassment, and lead to strategies that could be implemented to reduce incidences of sexual harassment.
This is a collaborative piece of work is led by Rachael Thompson (Salford University) and Dr Kirstie Turner (Arden University).
