We will recruit 638 patients who have undergone keyhole surgery to repair their rotator cuff across 30 hospitals in England, Scotland and Wales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following surgery, participants will receive standard rehabilitation (4 weeks in a sling) or patient-directed rehabilitation (patients can choose to remove the sling and start moving their arm when they feel able to).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Funding<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RaCeR 2 is funded by the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) Health Technology Assessment (HTA) programme (\u00a31,737,837).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Period<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RaCeR 2 will inform clinical practice nationally and internationally.
