MSKHUB.com: An Online Self-Management Platform and Data Repository for People with Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Conditions

Developed with an extensive Patient and Public Involvement (PPI), clinicians, researchers and digital learning experts, MSKHUB.com online platform brings health professionals and people living with rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions (RMD) as collaborators to digitise psychometrically tested and validated electronic patient reported outcome measures (ePROMs) and self-management programmes to increase access to reliable and personalised health information. Registration to the platform is free, and users are able to create personalised health records to aid self-management in a secure web-based platform. Data collected is anonymised and stored in an electronic data repository to support future research into RMD.

The Hub will be supported by social media, blogs and a podcast to engage communities of practice and connect people with RMD to health professionals and researchers to create an inclusive, diverse, and accessible online MSK community.

Professor Yeliz Prior is the founder and lead of the MSKHUB.com, which was originally developed with funding from The Logres Trust and sponsored by the University of Salford.
