Anne Pearson

My research interests are within the broad area of mental health, as evident in therapeutic, work and community settings. As a co-investigator, I have obtained internal funding of £500 for an evaluation of the University face-to-face staff counselling service which is helping with a paper currently in preparation.  I am also the co-author of an invited book chapter for the second edition of ‘Digital mammography: An holistic approach’ on ‘Psychological considerations in attending for mammography screening’. Previously, I have published on the development of emotional intelligence and emotional competencies in under- and postgraduate students (British Journal of Guidance and Counselling) and on the uptake of NICE guidelines for improving mental health at work.
