Welcome to the Greater Manchester Practice Education Centre of Excellence (GM PECE) Research and Innovation Guide for Health and Social Care Organisations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are a nurse, midwife or allied health professional and want to get into research and\/or innovation, or are already on your research\/innovation career journey and need assistance along the way, then this guide is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This guide has been created by a team of researchers from the University of Salford, to help you navigate research and innovation from taking the first steps, right through to publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is this guide for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals like me?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This guide has been developed for all nurses, midwives and allied health professionals who work across health and social care.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may work in hospital and community services as a direct employee of an NHS trust, providing ambulance, mental health, community or hospital services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may work in social care, in environments outside of the NHS\/private health care services, more often for independent sector organisations. This may be in residential care settings or home care, or within settings such as charitable organisations, local authorities, faith groups and education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
