Some students are able to fund themselves, there are some scholarships and discounts available at the University of Salford (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salford.ac.uk\/postgraduate-research\/fees\">see here for more details<\/a>), there are external organisations who might fund research such as charities and research councils, you may be able to take out a loan, or your employer might be able to fund your research degree.
