{"id":1338,"date":"2020-06-04T11:03:53","date_gmt":"2020-06-04T11:03:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/network\/test\/events-work-and-welfare\/hidden-young-people-in-salford-research-findings-launch\/"},"modified":"2020-06-16T16:01:24","modified_gmt":"2020-06-16T15:01:24","slug":"hidden-young-people-in-salford-research-findings-launch","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hub.salford.ac.uk\/care-shusu\/events-work-and-welfare\/hidden-young-people-in-salford-research-findings-launch\/","title":{"rendered":"Hidden Young People in Salford: Research Findings Launch"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Took place Wednesday, 31 October 2018 from 10:30 to 13:00 (BST)<\/strong><br><strong>University of Salford | The Old Firestation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Academics at the <strong>University of Salford<\/strong> have been commissioned by <strong>Salford City Council<\/strong> as part of the <strong>Salford Anti-Poverty Taskforce<\/strong> collaboration to undertake research exploring the experience of \u2018Hidden\u2019 young people in Salford \u2013 i.e. those young people who are neither in employment, education or training (NEET), nor who claim the benefits they are entitled to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This free event provided an overview of the key research findings fromt he Research Team, generated through interviews held with hidden young people and focus groups with wider stakeholders from across the City.
