{"id":441,"date":"2023-07-27T10:17:49","date_gmt":"2023-07-27T10:17:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hub.salford.ac.uk\/applied-health-research\/?page_id=441"},"modified":"2023-11-01T13:42:22","modified_gmt":"2023-11-01T13:42:22","slug":"facilities","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hub.salford.ac.uk\/applied-health-research\/facilities\/","title":{"rendered":"Our Facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Our researchers have access to state-of-the-art-facilities.&nbsp;<strong>These include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salford.ac.uk\/our-facilities\/psychology-labs\">Psychology labs&nbsp;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Our eleven labs include interview spaces, cognitive testing suites and various specialist labs all featuring the latest advanced, experimental software for online and lab-based data collection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salford.ac.uk\/our-facilities\/counselling-centre-and-service\">Counselling centre and service<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide general counselling services for adults who live or work in Greater Manchester for a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, stress, bereavement and loss.\u00a0The suite features therapeutic areas where one-to-one, family and group interactions can occur and the University is hoping to work with local charities which will be able to use the facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salford.ac.uk\/our-facilities\/imaging-facilities\">Imaging facilities&nbsp;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Radiographers are highly trained health specialists who use sophisticated equipment to take images to help diagnose injury or disease. They are a vital part of hospital medical teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.salford.ac.uk\/our-facilities\/simulation-suites\">Simulation labs&nbsp;<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Housed in the Mary Seacole building, our state of the art healthcare simulation suite was designed by architects specialising in modern healthcare environments.
