The centre is directed by Professor Phil Kalra a longstanding colleague and friend to the late Professor O\u2019Donoghue. The centre reflects Donal\u2019s organisation and comprehensive vision through 15 current research themes, collaborative work with local universities and other research organisations and ambitions to bring more colleagues into the world of research (including non-medical colleagues, such as nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals).
