The current data shows a 27.8% racially minoritised award gap in Health and Society in 2021\/22 (university average is 13.8%), a 28% Award Gap in Sociology and Criminology, and 40% in Social Policy. We are proposing the creation of a decolonial health check tool to address the coloniality of curriculums as one way of tackling the racially minoritized Award Gap. The tool is being co-created with students through a series of focus groups.
