Volunteering Together: Inclusive Volunteering and Disabled People

The aim of this project was to help organisations better understand the needs of disabled people, and open up more volunteering opportunities. Using data from Understanding Society, the UK Household Longitudinal Study, the research profiled disabled and non-disabled volunteers to understand how patterns of volunteering have changed during the pandemic. The team also undertook six in-depth case studies with organisations that currently work with volunteers.
