Northern Care Alliance’s Centre for Clinical and Care Research (CCR) provides a foundation for Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals, Pharmacists and Healthcare Scientists (NMAPH) to gain the skills and confidence to become research leaders, with the University of Salford being an academic partner of this centre.

The centre is supported by post-doctoral clinical academic staff to provide training, mentoring and development for NMAPH staff at any stage of their research career, to build a culture and enhance the capacity of a research active workforce in line with National recommendations and strategy.
