The article is called &#8216;&#8221;She was no taller than your thumb. So she was called Thumbelina\u201d: Gender, Disability, and Visual Forms in Hans Christian Andersen\u2019s \u201cThumbelina\u201d (1835)&#8221;, appears in the\u00a0<em>Journal of Gender, Ethnic, and Cross-Cultural Studies<\/em>, 2.1 (2023), pp. 1-21 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can download the full, open access article for free <a href=\"https:\/\/epublications.marquette.edu\/cgi\/viewcontent.cgi?article=1035&amp;context=jgecp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hannah has also just been awarded a $2500 scholarship from The Baldwin Library of Historical Children&#8217;s Literature (University of Florida). The scholarship is called the &#8216;Louise Seaman Bechtel Visiting Professorship&#8217;, and during Hannah&#8217;s ten-day visit in November she&#8217;ll be conducting further research for a new book proposal in the archives, as well as delivering some taught sessions and a paper presentation to undergraduate English Lit students at the university.
