Enterprise and engagement

Welcome to the School of Health and Society Enterprise and Engagement Hub. This hub brings together our training offer, consultation, and partnership offer across our wide-ranging Directorates: Nursing and Midwifery, Allied and Public Health, Social Sciences and Sport and Psychology. These courses, consultations and partnerships, are designed to meet skills demand across the health and social care sectors.

The Portal provides co-created Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses and Masterclasses for professionals, keen to enhance knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of the health and social care sector.

Based at our Frederick Road Campus in Salford, our facilities and specialist spaces are equipped with industry standard hardware and software. These superb facilities play a central role in the delivery of our professional training courses across a diverse range of areas, from nursing and midwifery to counselling, radiography, podiatry, orthotics, social prescribing and much more.

The Portal provides programmes, consultation services, and partnerships aimed at delivering health, social care and wider community focused provision.  We offer particular focus on leadership, equality and diversity and integrated health and social care; our provision is delivered by academic and practice experts offering research informed, evidence-based advice and guidance in their specialist fields within the health and social care sectors.
