Careers Insight for Postgraduate Applied Psychology Students

Students on the MSc Applied Psychology (Therapies) programme were treated to a first-hand account of a career as a Psychological Wellbeing Practioner (PWP) when Carly Bell dropped in for a chat. Carly graduated from the programme in 2012 and is now a Senior PWP with the Working Well programme operated by the NHS in Greater Manchester. Carly reflected on her time at the University of Salford and on the value of the programme to her work.  There was a wonderfully interesting ‘day in the life’ insight and some great practical tips on how to find and secure opportunities as a trainee PWP.  We wish Carly all the best in her future career and look forward to welcoming her back to meet more of our students.
