PsychoPy Tasks

Psychopy is an open-source behavioural data collection solution that has been developed by Dr. Jon Peirce and his team based at the University of Nottingham.

Being based on the Python programming language, Psychopy is very flexible, and is particularly useful for dealing with dynamic stimuli (that is, stimuli that ‘move’ each frame, such as a spinning wheel).

Below you will find links to support materials to help you use PsychoPy to build your own tasks or edit those others have made, as well as links to tasks we’ve developed in the department.
